Synchronous Communication Tool
2006-2009: LGL Systems virtual classroom communication software with recordings
Instructors needed to have a rich communication experience with students based on the traditional way of religious teaching. We developed Flash-based multimedia virtual classroom software of the class of Adobe Connect and Dim Dim to enable this rich communication. Furthermore, recordings that reproduced the live experience as close as possible was vital as many students could not attend live. Both of these software have gone through multiple revisions and improvements based on usability tests and student interviews. It has become one of the key enablers of success for an online academy that grew from 200-300 to 800-1000 students per semester.
